James was born and raised in Kingsport, TN. After medically retiring as a 25+ year veteran welder, he began his tattoo career in Kentucky. He moved back to his hometown in 2020, where his passion for art and tattoos followed him. In 2022, along with his wife Jenny, they opened Ink’d Outlaws in Kingsport, TN.
